Dr. Jerri Ward-Jackson is a nationally recognized educator, instructional technology expert, and educational consultant with more than 20 years of experience in K–12 and higher education. As Founder and CEO of Distinguished Educational Consulting (DEC), she partners with schools, districts, and educational organizations to improve student outcomes through innovative instructional practices, technology integration, professional learning, and strategic leadership.
Her expertise includes curriculum development, online and blended learning, STEM/STEAM program design, educator training, and equity-focused school improvement. Dr. Ward-Jackson is passionate about helping educators create engaging, inclusive learning environments that empower both teachers and students to succeed.
Through DEC, she leads a team dedicated to providing practical, research-based solutions that strengthen instruction, support educators, and drive meaningful educational transformation.
Dr. Jan G. Miller is an accomplished educational leader with more than 30 years of experience in K–12 and higher education. As Vice President of Educational Services and Lead Consultant for DEC, she works with schools and districts to strengthen leadership capacity, improve instructional effectiveness, enhance school culture, and increase student achievement.
A former elementary teacher, K–8 principal, and longtime Dean of the University of West Alabama’s College of Education, Dr. Miller has led transformative initiatives in educator preparation, leadership development, competency-based education, and rural school advancement. She is widely recognized for developing innovative partnerships, building sustainable educator pipelines, and supporting meaningful school improvement efforts.
